1 Jeffrey Epstein‘s confidant Ghislaine Maxwell appeared virtually before a federal magistrate Thursday afternoon and waived her right to a detention hearing in New Hampshire, clearing the way for her transfer to New York, where she is expected to be temporarily detained.
2 The June jobs report was better than expected,and US stocks got a nice boost because of it. The government reported that the US economy added 4.8 million jobs in June, bringing the unemployment rate down to 11.1%.
3 The DNR and Coast Guard say they will be increasing patrols this July 4th weekend, looking out for drunk boaters. The increase in patrols is called Operation Dry Water. Drunk boating is the leading cause of boating deaths nationwide, according to the agencies.
