Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said Michigan could soon ‘dial back’ economic reopening plans if the number of COVID-19 cases continued to rise.

On CNN’s New Day Tuesday morning, Whitmer said she took heat the first-time restrictions were put in place, shortly after COVID-19 was first confirmed in Michigan on March 10, but would dial back the re-engagement process if it meant keeping Michiganders safe.
